Shannon Herber works in service of artists along all aspects of their journey, helping them to navigate the ever-changing music industry landscape. Ms. Herber is the Founder & Chief Consultant at the music industry consulting firm Wise River Consulting, specializing in artist strategy, event production, emerging tech, fan engagement, tour management and business operations. Some of her clients include Virgin Music, FM Group, Little Empire Music, Source Audio, Mob Creative and Winter Music Conference. She was named one of Shesaid.so's Alternative Power 100 Music List in 2019 and is a Global Advisory Board Member for UK-based arts non-profit In Place of War; a Co-Chair of the Association For Electronic Music's Emerging Tech Committee; and a Board Member for US-based music non-profit Femme House. She is a Professional member of the Recording Academy and a member of the UK-based Association for Independent Music.   Previously, she served as Managing Director of A0K1VERSE (Steve Aoki’s web3 company), Head of Artist Strategy & Business Development, Music at fan engagement platform Campaign, Head of Pop & Dance/Electronic Music at The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs), Director of Operations/Tour Manager for the artist Moby and Manager, Publicity & Artist Relations at Universal Music Group.
