Camila Álvarez is Beatport’s Indie Dance curator, where she works at the intersection of music discovery, genre evolution, and scene-building. Her curatorial approach focuses on championing the genre’s more leftfield and experimental roots — from post-punk, disco, and rock & roll influences to the eclectic club music that has historically defined its identity.
Through her musical alias eveava, Camila travels across the sonic spectrum — from Indie Dance to Deep House, through Disco and Electro — weaving sets that invite both movement and introspection.
Outside of music, she is also a UX/UI and visual designer, with a practice centered on creating bridges between the digital and the human, the functional and the emotional.
