Adam Weitz is VP, Film & TV at APM Music, a joint venture between Universal Music Publishing Group and Sony Music Publishing. He leads APM’s creative sync licensing team for film, television, and entertainment marketing, drawing from a catalog of 1.4M+ one-stop tracks, 250K+ covers, and 230+ new albums released each month from 200+ labels, including the newly launched Berklee College of Music catalog, which he co-founded. APM’s music can be heard in 15 of the last 20 Best Picture Oscar-winning films, as well as 95 productions nominated for Emmys in 2026.

APM credits include Backrooms, F1, Hamnet, K-Pop Demon Hunters, One Battle After Another, Sinners, Song Sung Blue, Weapons, Zootopia 2, Marty Supreme, The Smashing Machine, Hacks, Widow’s Bay, Beef, The Bear, The White Lotus, Severance, Shrinking, Fallout, It: Welcome to Derry, Crystal Lake, Ted Lasso, Love Island, and The Studio.

A lifelong crate-digger, Adam began his music career in 2001 collaborating with the late MF DOOM before going on to score Saturday morning cartoons as a composer. He also spearheads APM’s sampling business, transforming vintage library works into contemporary hits. His work has led to collaborations and co-publishing deals with Kendrick Lamar on “Peekaboo,” Drake “First Person Shooter” feat. J Cole, SZA “No More Hiding” and “Get Behind Me,” Future “SKI,” The Black Keys “Beautiful People (Stay High)” and “Don’t Let Me Go,” Chance the Rapper “All Night,” Jay-Z  “DOA,” Eminem “Murdergram Deux” feat. LL Cool J, Kaytranada “Feel A Way” feat. Don Toliver, Denzel Curry “Walkin,” Dr. Dre “Diamond Mind” feat. Nipsey Hussle and The Alchemist, 21 Savage “Savage Mode Intro” feat. Adam holds a BA in film from Fordham and a JD from Syracuse, where he studied intellectual propery and civil rights. He has been with APM for 14 years.
